Parents of children who will be in preschool next fall of 2008
are asked to notify the Claflin Elementary School as soon as
possible. Principal Jane Oeser is requesting notification by
calling 620-587-3896. Claflin Elementary Secretary Stefanie Herter
will request several items of information including the child’s
name and birth date. In order to enroll in the four-year-old
preschool a child must be 4 years old by August 31, 2008.
Parents are also reminded that enrollment in
Kansas schools for the first time requires a birth certificate and
the Kansas Certificate of Immunization Card. Securing a birth
certificate may take as long as six weeks; therefore, early
application is encouraged. Application forms are available at the
Claflin Elementary School Office.
